This project explores how informed consent can be meaningfully obtained in human-robot interaction (HRI). Existing consent practices often overlook the social, psychological, and embodied complexities of interacting with robots. Our work includes the development the RoboConsent Framework to support more user-centered, transparent, and ethically robust consent processes. We are currently applying the framework in empirical settings to explore how informed consent can be designed and evaluated in real-world HRI contexts.
